Photographers Rights UK

An interesting short film about a new law in the UK, which could be used to curtail a basic human right - to record, in a public place, sights and sounds. At my workplace (academic institution in the US) there are similar discussions. While you cannot take pictures that invade the privacy of individuals, taking photos as such is not subject to laws. In most instances, these blunt laws, if not enforced in good faith, are likely to punish the innocent and be easily overcome by the criminal.
